About
I didn't study computer science. I studied finance at ESCP Europe, ended up in data engineering, and now I work as a Senior Program Manager in Tokyo. I also build open-source tools because the best way to understand something is to make things with it.
For years I drove data strategy as a freelance consultant, working with over 50 companies on Azure and Databricks. Now I get to drive it from within a large organization. My role isn't a data strategy role on paper, but the perspective travels with you.
I build tools that I and other data professionals actually need in their daily work. Semantic Model Explorer lets you drop a Power BI file into your browser and explore the model, or copy it as structured Markdown to paste into an LLM. Power Query Explorer extracts and visualizes M code from Excel and Power BI files. Both run entirely in the browser.
This site is where I share what I learn. Tools, articles, and the occasional opinionated take on where AI and data strategy are headed.
